Nylon is the most widely used carpet fibre. It's the strongest fibre, making it an excellent choice for heavy traffic areas. It has excellent colour, clarity, strength and abrasion resistance. Polyester is non-allergic, sheds moisture and is easy to clean. Polypropylene is extremely resistant to fading and moisture. This fibre is colourfast because it is solution dyed which means the colour is added during production and not dyed later. The colour is such an inherent part of the fibre that you can clean it with bleach. Polypropylene is a strong fibre, hard wearing and stain resistant.

Wool is the traditional carpet fibre. Its properties include excellent ability to spring back into shape, good resistance to soiling and is easy to clean. The oldest carpet fibre offers an excellent wear ability. Wool has a warm and comfortable feel, making the floor a real feature.
